Our Clients
The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston
The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston engaged in a project to replace and upgrade the telecommunication systems in three of their locations in Houston, Texas. An RFP (Request for Proposal) was developed to outline specific technical and cost objectives of within the project.
In addition, to these considerations, vendor responses were also evaluated on the basis of the following factors contained within the RFP:
Of the nine vendors seriously contending within the RFP process, two emerged as clear leaders, both demonstrating the leadership and professional qualities desired.
Genesis was chosen as the "leader among the leaders" with a solution in hand not only for the present needs of the Archdiocese, but with growth and technology enhancements nailed down for the foreseeable future.
Our post installation experience may be summed up as follows:
- Our technology, cost and service objectives have been met
- Our ongoing quarterly Customer Service Meetings demonstrate a sincere interest and commitment by Genesis to us as a partner with them as opposed to being just one of their customers
- We have strong and ongoing relationships with our Genesis Project Manager, Service Department, Operations and Training Managers, along with our dedicated Service Technician
The pride and commitment of this organization is obvious as you enter their front door and see many testimonies such as this on their "Wall of Fame."
We are pleased to be their business partner, both now and for the foreseeable future.

Dear Debra:
I just wanted to thank you and your wonderful team at Genesis for literally saving our business lives. To give you a little background on how you saved us requires some information: two really excellent and nice attorneys from the law firm we were formerly with decidd it was time to leave the firm and create a new law firm, which occurred on December 5, 2006. They brought several other attorneys and staff with them, including me, to help them embark on their new adventure. (When we are all assembled, we will have about 25 people in this office and in our three offices in Austin, Lake Jackson and Pearland.)
As you know, the only products a lawyer produces are the spoken word (via telephone or in person) and the written word (via letters, documents and the Internet) and without those tools, we would not survive. One of the lawyers received a recommendation for a small telephone equipment provider who sold us and installed the Meridian phones. He was a nice person but had one helper who would come to help us every couple of weeks with the programming and provided a minimal amount of training. Not only that, we would not place calls nor receive calls from clients or anyone from 936 or 409 area codes. It was a nightmare.
That situation was compounded with a telephone line provider recommended to one of our attorneys. That provider gave us a trunk number which we had printed on our letterhead and business cards and then said, "Oops," that number belongs to someone else. In addition, they didn't have us listed in information for at least a month which could have shut our firm down, since no one could find us. Their directory assistance either told our clients that they had no listing of that name or they gave out a number that belonged to Organic Fuels and several other companies. There were many other problems associated with both the telephone equipment and the telephone line provider.
That's when I screamed help and asked you to ride in on your white charger with your staff and save the day and our business. That is literally what you and your staff did, including Janet, Joel, Mike, Craig, Keenan and many others. (I'm sorry I have left out the names of others on your staff who have done so much to help us, but the people listed were the people who came to our office and physically walked us through various situations.)
With your help and with the help of LOGIX, we are on an even keel again and things are stabilizing.
Our heartfelt thanks and gratitude go to you and your staff for helping our law firm survive and, hopefully, prosper.
Sincerely,
Saundra J. Dahlke

Dear Debra,
I wanted to take a moment to thank you and your staff for the efficiency and care we were given through our recent installation of a new Shoretel communication system.
Because this installation involved moving into a new facility as well as connectivity to multiple buildings, timing and coordination was a key issue. Your team members exercised patience and understanding through multiple delays and made sure they were available as needed. They demonstrated their skills, both interpersonal and technical and were generous with their knowledge. They took care to ensure that both our users and system administrators are trained and assured us that they remain available to assist and support us whenever necessary.
In a few short weeks, your staff will be installing another Shoretel system for us and I am confident that this upcoming project will run as smoothly as the first.
Thanks for partnering with us on these projects and hats off to your staff!
Sincerely,
Barbara J Wright
